To ensure the quality of our pipes, STS has a Quality Control Department that is separate from the Manufacturing Department. The QC Department, in accordance with the requirements stipulated by the regulations or customer specifications, controls the pipes manufactured both in the manufacturing stage itself and as a finished product, through a series of inspections and tests, such as:

Visual Inspection, Dimensional Control, Ultrasound, Hydrostatic Testing, X-Ray/Fluoroscope, Mechanical and chemical testing, etc...

STS works with approved suppliers of raw materials and fuels, and controls the delivery and use of products prior to manufacturing.

Finally, once the tube has been flared or faced, dimensional controls are performed (diameters, thickness, ovalisation, length) and the final identification procedure is carried out to ensure traceability.
